Praise to God is a Lifestyle
The Bible teaches us that God inhabits the praises of His people (Psalms 22:3). This simply means that, God “dwells” in the atmosphere of His praise.
Here at The Upperroom Bible Church, our goal is to go beyond singing, hand clapping, and foot stomping to create a worship experience.
Praise is not just a reaction from entering into the presence of God, praise is a vehicle of faith which brings us into the presence and power of God!
Praise and worship is the gateway to the sacredness of the glory of God. Here at The Upperroom Bible Church, through our worship experience you lift your hearts above your troubles and enter into God’s presence and power.
The hearts and praises of God’s people are raised into the joyous presence and peace of God, providing an avenue for his God’s power to operate in the midst of your circumstance.
Many people think that praise is just singing songs at church, but it is much more! A life of praise and worship fills our deepest needs, and amazingly, it also brings great joy to God and the heart of the believer.
All too often people leave the praises of God at church, but here at UBC we teach people how to incorporate God’s praise into their daily lives, because praise is a lifestyle and brings the refreshing of the Lord’s presence, power, and anointing to our lives to renew us on a daily basis.
God tells us how to praise and worship him in His Word. The best way that we can praise and worship God is with our every thought and action. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is -- his good, pleasing and perfect will. Come and experience the power of God with us!
What We Believe….
The Upperroom Bible Church is called, ordained, and anointed by God to bring the body of Christ into a prosperous relationship with the Godhead: FATHER, SON, AND HOLY SPIRIT.
We have been called to preach the gospel to the poor, “…to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord.” (Luke 4:18 & 19)
We believe that all scripture is given by inspiration of God. (II Timothy 3:16)
We believe that there is one body and one Spirit; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in all.
We believe that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and are in need of salvation.
We maintain that faith in Christ Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection is the only way, truth and life.
We believe that the Holy Spirit expresses Himself through people.
We believe in water baptism and observance of the Lord’s Supper (Holy Communion).
We believe in the return of our soon coming King, Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead in Christ.
